The BAMF informs: Changes within the framework of JRS as of 15 February, 2023

Effective 15 February, 2023, there have been changes to the general minimum stay requirement under the JRS program. Individuals submitting a JRS application effective 15 February, 2023 will no longer be required to meet the national criterion of a minimum stay of 3 months. Please also note the special regulations applicable to the countries of origin Albania, Georgia, Moldova and Northern Macedonia, among others, for long-term tolerated persons.
