The BAMF informs: Fact sheet on the refinancing of voluntary returns to Afghanistan, Eritrea, Yemen, Libya and Syria 2025

Following our information in recent weeks regarding the inclusion of the target countries Afghanistan, Eritrea, Yemen, Libya and Syria in the REAG/GARP programme, the updated information sheet on the refinancing of voluntary returns in 2025 and the associated application form are now available in the download area.

Please note that due to the inclusion of the target countries Afghanistan, Eritrea, Yemen, Libya and Syria in REAG/GARP, applications for pro rata refinancing will only be available for a transitional period. Funded, voluntary returns to the destination countries Afghanistan, Eritrea, Yemen and Libya can still be organized until 31.03.2025 and corresponding refinancing applications can be submitted until 31.05.2025 at the latest via the mailbox below. After this date, pro rata refinancing for voluntary returns to these destination countries will no longer be possible.

Due to the continued high level of interest, the refinancing of voluntary return to the destination country Syria will continue for the time being until further notice.
