Information for returnees with "Langzeitduldung" to Albania

As part of the StarthilfePlus adjustments, individual reintegration assistance under the JRS program has been available to long-term tolerated returnees (toleration of at least 2 years) to Albania since January 1, 2023.

Under the JRS program, benefits can be provided for short-term assistance ("Post Arrival Package" up to three days after arrival in the destination country) as well as long-term assistance ("Post Return Package"). In order to be able to take advantage of the Post Arrival Package in particular, it is strongly recommended that a JRS application be submitted in good time via the nearest return counselling center before departure. In addition to better planning for return and subsequent support, this will enable the transition to longer-term reintegration support to be as seamless as possible.

Please note that the benefits of the bridge component are no longer available to long-term tolerated returnees to Albania as of May 1, 2023 (cut-off date for departure, see also notification of April 12, 2023).
