The ARRIVES program supports refugees and migrants who are interested in starting a business in their country of origin Nigeria. ARRIVES builds on the StartHope@Home - creating new perspectives program.
Contents of the program
ARRIVES provides subject-specific (online) coaching to strengthen participants' entrepreneurial skills so that they can set up their own business after returning to Nigeria. In addition, other individual concerns relating to professional reintegration can also be addressed. Thanks to the intensive feedback between the three partner organizations, participants can also be supported with targeted placement in dependent employment ("job placements") in Nigeria. The entire program is supplemented by psychosocial support. A coach in Nigeria is involved from the outset and continues to provide advice and support in Nigeria after the participants return. This transnational concept ensures seamless support for returnees throughout the entire return and reintegration process.

Participation in the program is free and no prior knowledge is required.
Important note: Coaching is possible in person at the Social Impact gGmbH locations in Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart. Alternatively, participation can also take place virtually in the form of online coaching or by telephone.

The program is implemented jointly by Social Impact gGmbH, IRARA and the International Trade Center (ITC). The program has been part of the return preparation measures (RkVM) since November 2023.
