The BAMF informs: Application deadlines for the refinancing of voluntary departures to Afghanistan, Eritrea, Yemen, Libya and Syria from 2024

With the end of the 2024 financial year approaching, the Federal Office would like to draw attention to the submission deadlines for applications for refinancing from this year. Due to the annual cash deadline, these can only be processed in the current year if they are received by December 13, 2024, together with all the necessary documents. After this deadline, applications can only be processed again from January 1, 2025.

Cases from 2024 can only be submitted in the 2025 financial year until February 14, 2025. All applications received after this date can no longer be refinanced.

We would also like to inform you that the refinancing procedure will initially continue in 2025, but that the gradual integration of the above-mentioned target countries into the REAG/GARP 2.0 programme will take place as soon as possible.

As soon as more precise details on funded departures to the target countries Afghanistan, Eritrea, Yemen, Libya and Syria within the framework of REAG/GARP are available, the BAMF will inform the responsible authorities.
