IOM informs: ZIRF-Counselling training offer October 2024
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are very pleased to be able to offer you training courses on the ZIRF Counselling Project again this year. The training dates are listed below.
Information on the ZIRF-Counselling project and the content of the training: With the help of the Individual Inquiries component, advice centers can have individual and specific information researched by IOM in the respective countries of origin. For example, the ZIRF Counselling project team will provide you with individual information on available medicines or the possibilities of setting up a business. You can then incorporate this detailed information into your advice.
As part of the voluntary return of unaccompanied minor migrants, ZIRF Counselling can support you with an assessment of the local family situation (family assessment). Comprehensive information is gathered for the legal representation of the ward in order to support the decision as to whether a return is in the best interests of the child.
We will also inform you about the country information sheets and their contents.
Learning objectives: • Components of ZIRF Counseling and their added value in counseling work • Applying for individual requests in the online application module (OAM) • ZIRF database and its use • Country information sheets and their contents • Applying for a family assessment
The training courses are offered via ZOOM and are free of charge for all participants.
