Newly available: information sheet on how to obtain emergency travel documents for Pakistan

15 August 2019

A new info-sheet on the process of obtaining emergency travel certificates (ETCs) for Pakistan has now been made available.

The Joint Center for the Support of Return (ZUR), together with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), has published an information sheet on the process of obtaining emergency travel certificates (ETCs) for Pakistan.

The contents of the information sheet, which can also be printed as a handout, are:

  1. A description of the procedure to obtain emergency travel certificates (ETCs)
  2. The required documents needed for the ETCs
  3. The addresses and opening hours of embassies and consulates-general

The information sheet for Pakistan can be downloaded here. The BAMF plans on making similar information for other countries of return available. The information sheet does not claim to cover all the details of the process and represents the current status of the required procedures. Any variations or changes required by the respective authorities are possible at short notice and without advance notice.
